・Shiritsu Ebisu Chugaku was formed in August, 2009.

Mayama:7 girls were called by the our company, and 5 girls were chosen.
We had to decide a group name immediately. We were named "Shiritsu Ebisu Chugaku" by Rijicho(Fujishita).

・How did you feel about EbiChu?

Mayama:Ebisu Chugaku(Ebisu Junior high school). So I thought that the group was dissolved after a short while.

・What is the most impressive thing in the early days?

Mayama:The thing that Non-chan(Kanon) left the group was very impressive for me.

・She became the first transfer student for a group.

Mayama:Yeah. She had to leave the group for a while to appear in a movie. She had left the EbiChu. When I think about no longer being able to meet her, I was sad.
Natsu and Ayaka joined the group just at that time.
Furthermore, I was sad when Naru(Uno Narumi) had left.

・What was your first impression of other girls?

Mayama:Yasu(Ayaka) had a very shy character. She had always come to the lesson with her mother.
I used to talk with her mom on my way home. But I don't remember talking with Yasu.
Aiai was a big crybaby at that time. I have never thought that her voice was strange.
Mirei chan had worn flashy clothes. If she wasn't there, we would have worn quiet clothes.
Rina is so beautiful and is tall. I was very jealous of her.
It was rumored that Hinata would be a scary girl. It was quite different from fact.lol

・And EbiChu made major debut on May 2012.

Mayama:There were not a union of interests or purposes or sympathies among members of a group.
But that is our good points.

・I agree with you.

Mayama:Yeah. Many fans would agree with us.

・Mizuki, Natsu and Hirono left the group in December, 2013.

Mayama:I could not understand that right away. 6 girls discussed our plans for the future.
We decided not to increase the members, and were in unanimous agreement.

・But Kaho and Riko joined the EbiChu.

Mayama:We came to feel a union of interests or purposes or sympathies among members of a group with that.

・Why did that change?

Mayama:It was because we were agreed that we welcomed them.
We were agreeing with that before we knew it.
I thought that it is what team work is.

・What has changed since then?

Mayama:The chances for us to speak with each members increased.
Yasu became more active. After they left, she solved own problem.
Mirei chan came to distinguish things objectively.
Aiai slowly opened her heart to us.
Rina looked like she hadn't changed from before. She also slowly opened her heart.
Hinata is already not the youngest. She became an adult.

・I thought that it was really good that Kaho and Riko joined the EbiChu.

Mayama:I agree with you. But the fans should judge it.
