One performance to rule them all...

This is totally an "I'm bored at work" thread, but I hope it gets some responses. :)>-

If you wanted to instantly convert someone who's never heard of Momoclo into a fan with just one video, what would it be and why?
(lets keep it to just one song, from a Live, TV performance or Music Video)

I'm gonna take the easy answer and say the Mouretsu MV.

primarily because I've literally seen it happen several times.

It'll depend on the person I was trying to convert. I think NEO STARGATE on Kokuritsu will make anyone's jaw drop. It's not their best song but I think the performance is the best for anyone to take them seriously, it has the "larger than life" feeling to it.

The one that converted me was Saraba on Otoko Matsuri 2012... because Devil outfits :))

+1 on Mouretsu MV, it's eye-catching and ear-catching enough and pretty much summarizes how crazy they are and the epitome of "this is not your average idol group". Epic videos? check. Weird choreography? check. Random shouting? check. In-joke lyrics? check. Riding-into-spaces-with-bicycles? check. Kamehameha? check.
You can also boast about the guitar part was done by Marty.

Whenever I show someone Momoclo I start with their 2014 MTV performace:
    http://youtu.be/4x1T10LHsIw
It shows the newbie the real excitement of the crowd, and how freaking awesome the overture is! Even though Ahrin is injured in this, they still show off their sweet dance moves. Plus it includes Mouretsu, which I agree, is the best song to start someone off with.

Also agree with Mouretsu, I first discoverd Momoclo when Konomin and Mimorin covered it at Anisama 2013. They're a great duo, you should watch it here.

But it also very nearly converted me to a Momoka-oshi (she really stands out vocally in this song), so you may be pushing newcomers towards her LOL.

Difficult to choose just one, but I must go with "Ame no Tajikarao" from Momoiro Christmas 2011. I love the wacky choreo, the combined energy of the girls and the audience, and the Asian flavor of the music.

They have so many great performances it's so hard to pick...

I'm not surprised about the Mouretsu votes, I used to always show people that song performed at the 2011 xmas show. (That's the one with the choir and Marty popping up from under the stage right?)

That said, I think I'll pick the Wani to Shampoo opening song from Summer Dive 2012. I really love this live so much. If I could squeeze in the awesome traditional instrument Overture opening, that would be the icing on the cake. All the girls entering the stage in yukata with masks and fans and the crowd going wild. Then the girls reveal themselves, the song starts, the water cannons fire and those 360º camera angles. I love this arena in particular because almost every shot of the girls the background is all fans and pen lights. To top it all off there's the cuteness of Momoka crying through the first few lines. :))

^ Agreed with Wani to Shampoo at Summer Dive 2012, that's what convinced a friend of mine of how fun and amazing they are. Before that she dismissed them as "Super Mario Music", but then she'll always ask me for that performance.

Mugen no Ai, without a doubt but PUSH is a close second (Its the first Momoclo video I saw and it hooked me).

The last few days I have been watching Reni's "Hello, Again" performance quite a few times.

It really depends on the person, i became a fan watching the complexity of Moretsu's MV and Haru no Ichidaiji's performace over and over. But now i love simple stuff, like Naichaisou Fuyu, as well.

I wanted to say Girls' Factory 14, a.k.a MomoClo Festival, but you just want one song. Still, how about a collab? Something where a more easily digestible band starts and then the girls come in and the crowd turns wild.

^^ I really enjoyed watching that performance. It's my personal favorite after the Kokuritsu show because it has all the element that made me a fan in the first place. It had decent singing, a diverse setlist, great choreography and an engaged audience. I remember thinking wow these girls have this audience eating out of their palms. I was really impressed. Plus, I love their outfit.

The Never ending adventure day 1, with the girls lighting the olympic fire, the rollercoaster descending as the first notes of Momoiro Punch start, and the girls coming onstage with the Momoiro Punch era clothes and striking the pose of the MV. Goosebumps all over

It's old, but this performance they seem to nail the entire way through (Plus it has blue and the original version of Shoujo Ikuze, which I prefer)

Seeing this , it´s a shame they never got to record Orange Note while Akarin was still a Momoclo. I love Arin and Tamai, but as far as rapping goes, they can´t match blue

It's lip-synch. Or rather the recording turned up so high you rarely hear the girls. Which is good because they mostly miss the mics.

At 1:45. That's what I'm talking about.... I made my peace with the idea that Akarin left. But Orange note and Coco natsu just don't sound the same without her

They have better songs, but I'd still go with Chai Maxxu, Chai Maxxu :). Specifically, as seen at Summer Dive 2012, in Seibu Dome. Lots of people have good songs, but Chai Max, live, is an explosion of energy that you don't see at pop concerts.

And, since rules are for suckers, I'm also gonna leave in Roudou Sanka as the lead in:
