I don't know that much about Japanese TV, but that seems pretty impressive. I once watched a Yankee game on BS11. I think it was Tanaka pitching, too, so they must be a pretty big deal.

Well, the thing is Teletama, which is only based in Saitama Prefecture and few surrounding areas, is the only non-satellite/internet way to watch it. The rest of the channels are satellite only, which many major broadcasters such as Fujisankei only utilise for extra/paid services, thus Fuji TV NEXT. So it is not being broadcast on a major major television channel, it's sort of niche. It is still something though!

4 channels. Wow, even if its satellite/paid is impressive still

The "What is ももクロ？" Doc is scheduled to air on 9 channels tough, i just dont know knothing about those channels to know how range of audience they have

Those are all regional channels for the prefectures of Saitama, Kobe, Kyoto, Chiba, Sendai, Kagoshima, Kumamoto, Hiroshima, Toyama, Tochigi, Gunma, Yamaguchi, Fukuoka, and Mie, respectively. Not a major network tie-in and not being broadcast in Tokyo (unless you can pick up ChibaTele from where you are), but still has a decent reach overall.
