In July 2010, they released "Plastic Star" and "Neginegi Negi ROCK" nationwide. In November, they performed at the "National Negi Summit" in Fukaya City, Saitama Prefecture, and made Negicco known in all of Japan's green onion producing regions; in December, they won the grand prix at the Regional Idol No. 1 Championship in Tokyo, and reigned supreme as the top regional idol. タワーレコード アイドル・レーベル第2弾! 2003年7月、やわ肌ネギキャンペーンのユニットとして「Negicco」を結成。キャンペーンソング「恋するねぎっ娘」でCDデビュー。NHKのポップジャム出演をきっかけに全国的に注目される。2005年、古町音楽祭で古町をイメージした「Falling Stars」がグランプリを受賞。2006年～2009年「Team ECO」(地球環境を整える)のCMに出演。2009年新潟国体のイメージソング「がむしゃらな風になれ」の歌とダンスの啓蒙で国体を盛り上げるインターネットTV、GyaOの「勝ち抜きアイドル天国」に出演、計6週のチャレンジで見事グランプリを獲得。2010年7月「プラスチック☆スター」「ねぎねぎROCK」を全国リリース。11月埼玉県深谷市で行われた「全国ネギサミット」に出演、全国のネギ産地にNegiccoの名を知らしめる。12月都内で行われた地方アイドルNo.1決定戦でグランプリ受賞、見事地方アイドルの頂点に君臨。NHK「Bizスポ」、「はなまるマーケット」「ワイドスクランブル」に取り上げられる。
