I first took notice of who I am
When I was about to surpass myself
In the midst of everyday, worrying and regretting

All of it help to broaden
The self I am now
So I’m not afraid of anything
As I hope for such a tomorrow
Someday, surely, in order to reach it
Even if I stumble now, I’ll get up again
And then, at the end of the wide road
All my selves are smiling as they wait
No matter how far away, they’re surely waiting
It’s too soon to give up now
No matter what the goal, if I don’t take
The first step, nothing will begin

KANJI
僕が僕に気づくのは
僕を超えようとした時
毎日の中で 悩んで後悔して
回り道をした時
壁にぶつかり 大きくそれた
そんな日々を 振り返ってみれば
誰よりもほら
大きく広がる 道が見えるだろう
多くの傷と 今(ココ)に立つんだろう
そんな大きな 道があるから
明日の自分に 逢いに行けるだろう
誰かと比べながら
自分を測ってみる
そんな日々の中で その先を見つめてた
答えなんかないのに
今の日々に 不安になるの
それは全部 自分で作った
間違ったモノサシ
多くのものを 求める先は
周りじゃなくて 自分自身だろう
なりたい僕は 僕が作るだろう
負けない相手は 誰かじゃないだろう
間違いの中で広がるものと
不安の中で深まるものと
全部が全部 今の自分を
大きく広くさせてくれるさ
だから何も怖がらないんだ
そんな明日を望んでいるんだ
いつか きっと たどり着くため
今は 転んでも 立ち上がるのさ
そして 道が 広がった先に
多くの自分が 笑って待ってるさ
どんな遠くても きっと待ってる
諦めるには まだ早いだろう
どんなゴールでも はじめの一歩
歩き出さなきゃ 始まらないだろう
僕が僕だと 気づくためには
その限界を 何度も何度も
超えていくんだ そして出逢うんだ
誰かじゃなくて 僕になるため
