As the grey clouds flowed
And the sky stopped crying

The wings on this back
Which you’ve silently watched over
Have been waiting for the season to take off

So saying, you smiled at me

There was no need for words
The place where I belonged was always here

“The sun is too bright”
I whisper
To explain my tear-filled eyes

So saying, you cried a little
