On the morning I was born, I was handed
A truly unfair travel bag
Holding it, I reached this school
Soon, I felt envy, sometimes contempt
Conflicting with the truth of my cowardice
My shining baggage increased
So much has happened
That I can’t speak of it well, but repeatedly
Ahh, I speak only words of “sorry” and “thank you”…
Memories turn to courage
Alone, I held tight onto the dreams I chose
It’s at a faraway place where we can’t ever reach
But singlemindedly
We’ll walk on
“My friend, on this part when we part”
“My friend, this sorrow”
“My friend, is proof of how deeply we loved”
“My friend, never forget”
“My friend, our sparkle——”
The last bell rang, cutting through the sky
As your shoulders trembled slightly
One more time
I close my eyes tight and breathe the words
Ahh, “goodbye” and “thank you” for now…
Picking up and connecting the pieces
As I tighten my grip on these slightly incomplete dreams
Even if I’m lost, even if I cry, I won’t stop
On the way to the bluest future
From here…
Just how many billions of light years of loneliness
Continue to separate us? Looking from

生まれた朝に 手渡されてた
ずいぶん不公平な 旅行鞄(かばん)
抱え 着いた この学舎(まなびや)で
すぐに羨(うらや)み 時に見下げて
臆病なホントを ぶつけあって
光る荷物を 増やしてきたんだ
いろいろありすぎて
うまく言えず 繰り返す
ああ「ごめんね」「ありがとう」だけを…
思い出が 勇気に変わる
ひとり 決めた夢を 固く握って
けして たどりつけない はるか遠く
それでも ただひと筋に
僕たちは 歩いてゆこう
「友よ 別れゆく今日の」
「友よ このせつなさが」
「友よ 愛した深さだ」
「友よ 忘れるな」
「友よ 僕らの輝ける――」
空を割って響く 最後のベル
君の肩先 微かに ふるえた
も一度だけ強く
まぶた閉じて 息で言う
ああ「さよなら」「ありがとう」今は…
こわしては 拾ってつないだ
少し 欠けた夢を 握り直したら
迷っても 泣いても 立ち止まらず
いちばん 青い未来へ

何億光年の孤独？
僕ら 離れ続けたってさ 宙(そら)の
底から見れば くっついたままだ
なにかあったなら なんにもなくたって
