As if we are no longer steeped in sorrow
Buddha, please
Grant us beautiful voices
Until all the lovers in the world fall softly asleep

Shouldering countless sins
With her fingers bent
Like talons, as the sound of strings
Resonate towards hell

Turning into a bird, a flower
As if hate can no longer chase us down
Buddha, somehow
Give us beautiful forms
Before even our human hearts disappear

Let us sing, let us play
To continue filling this place with only joy
Buddha, please
Grant me a beautiful voice
So that I can sing
Until the world comes to an end

背負った　罪いくつ
数えて折る指の
鉤爪　弦の音を
響かせます　地獄の方へ

鳥になる　花になる
憎しみはもう追って来られぬように
仏さま　どうか
麗しい姿お与えください
人で非ずば心など消えるでしょうか

歌いましょう　奏でましょう
喜びだけ満ちてつづくために
仏さま　わたしに
美しい声をお授けください
世に終わりがくるときにも
